Kāmpa, also known as Nicanor Snow, is a nationally certified Asian Bodywork Therapy practitioner with over 39 years of experience. He earned his certification through the American Organization of Bodywork Therapy of Asia (A.O.B.T.A.®) and has dedicated his life to the study and practice of Tui-Na therapy.
His journey began in 1985 at the Lea Tam Acupuncture Center in Boston, where he studied under Qigong Master Tom Tam and Dr. Ping C. Chan, Lic. Ac. In 1994, he traveled to Taiwan with Master Tam and the Oriental Culture Institute for an intensive work-study program. His pursuit of mastery led him to Beijing in 1998, where he furthered his studies and completed an internship in Tui-Na therapy at the China Beijing International Acupuncture Institute through the Connecticut Institute for Herbal Studies.
Kāmpa integrates Master Tam’s Tong Ren Therapy, energy healing theories and principles to restore balance within the framework of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) combined with modern physiotherapy devices. Additionally, he is a certified Reiki Shaman, specializing in guided spiritual medicine healing, spiritual mediumship, ceremonial leadership and transcendental sound, mind, body and music.
A dedicated martial artist, Kāmpa is a certified instructor and member of the Gin Soon Tai-Chi Chuan Federation U.S.A. In 2000, he founded the Seacoast Tai-Chi Institute and studied under the late Grandmaster Gin-Soon Chu a direct heirs of Great Grandmaster Yang Sau-Chung, lineage holder of Yang Cheng-Fu’s legendary Tai-Chi Chuan system.
